Why do I write every day? 2/3

This short essay is a continuation of my previous post “Why I Write? 1/2”. As I said in that post I write to help me consolidate my ideas and the reason why do this every single day is because I think that the writing is provides a compounding benefit to my personal growth.

Although it’s not super visible day by day, after six months of writing a short essay every day I can see how I am starting to make connections based on what I’ve written and that’s awesome. Moving forward I want to use these essays to explore ideas that I haven’t explored before and I want to start revising some of these essays to actually improve my writing.

These first six months have been an excellent run for this personal experiment and even though it takes time to see results writing is an activity that compounds over time to help me grow as a person.
