Startups don’t starve they drown

Yesterday I heard someone say that “startups don’t starve, they drown” and I giggled because in a couple of weeks working on my own I’ve realize that is so true.

It’s no surprise that focus is one of the most important qualities of startup founders but I think this phrase visualizes the problem of having too many inputs in a humorous way.

If anything this short post is a reminder that startups are about focusing on a single scalable idea rather than jumping on every good one that crosses the founders’ desks.
