Seeking Flow States

Note to future self…

In the past I’ve written about flow states and in my last post on this I argued that “…achieving flow state shouldn’t be our end goal. Instead a better metric to track might be the percentage of activities/time we experience flow.”

Today I want to follow-up on that conversation and argue that in some instances you should actively seek to get to flow state. For example, if you fill idle or that things aren’t really moving, then you should probably do work that provides you some positive feedback and get that feedback loop working until you achieve flow state.

Now back to work…
